Community Transformation Alliance (CTA) is a national Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 2021 and registered in 2023 under the Organization’s Act 2002, with Registration No. ooNGO/R/4536 registered to operate in Tanzania Mainland. Its head office is based in Dar es Salaam, with a field office in Nanyumbu District, Mtwara Region, in the southern part of Tanzania, bordering Mozambique. The organization’s focus is to complement the existing efforts to realize the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and beyond through its contribution to promoting the provision of quality community services in Tanzania. CTA is connected to 65 organizations scattered all over the country with related interventions. Four other partner organizations are based in Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Kenya. Also, CTA is an active member of the East African Civil Society Organizations Forum (EACSOF), the Tanzania Education Network, the Women Directors loose coalition, and the National Council for NGO in Tanzania (NACONGO).
